Did one of the Male running backs get hurt in the scrimmage w/ Highlands? I heard that one of their go-to guys in the backfield broke his arm.

I saw one guy go down briefly; but it didn't look like an arm injury.

I understand Hobbs broke his elbow and is done for the season at Male. This information came from within the coaching staff.

A Male player got hurt on a kickoff. He came off the field holding his arm. Not sure of the number though.

Yea, I remember seeing one of the Male players coming off the field and they were holding his are. I remember him running the ball and took a good hit to the arm which caused him to fumble it. At the time the hit looked hard enough to do some damage but as he came off the field they just kinda walked him off. No fan fair like an inflatable cast or anything. However, I remember it and it didn't look pretty at the time.

The kid was returning a kickoff and took a direct hit to the arm which resulted in the fumble. I believe that the kids number was 11. The arm was in a sling and I heard his mom telling someone that it was his elbow and not his arm that was injured. Hopefully that clears things up.

Still have conflicting stories. Heard elsewhere that Hobbs suffered a deep bruise to the elbow and will be back in a few weeks. Hopefully, it is the latter, less severe story. Maybe the newspaper will shed some light tomorrow morning.
