fballman007
I would be surprised if less than 95% showed up. After all, they are paying for their school.

Truthful - welcome to the site. Always good to get new members and their perspectives. One helpful hint: When reading a particular quote that you want to respond to, hit the "quote" icon in the bottom right of that particular post. That way your response will make more sense since it will have some context to it.
KCUKnight54
Well, I know of one kid that might not show up to KCU for practice is Wayne Stevens because of the wreck he suffered earlier in the summer...

I am a bit confused. I may be reading this wrong but I know D1-A scholarship players get their school, books, food card, housing, and then a small monthly stipend. All on ncaa.org. But true some colleges do not pay for all the bills, and the students should be praised that they are willing to go far lengths to go to college. A stipend never heard of it for COLLEGE players, but there is workstudy where you get a check each month for 20 hours work at min. wage .I did not mean that the players should not be praised for going on Iinferred that they would be going on their own DIME.A lot of players get signed then they get a bill that they did not expect, because they were led to think otherwise. My reason for posting in the first place was to see who went where. I am not up on D1money as my son is at D2 school.REMEMBER this when you post about financial situayions because I HAVE been there and KNOW first hand who gets what..... So WHO WENT WHERE ? I thought College players could not accept money etc I remember when my daughter was at Marshall 10 years ago and they came under fire for their players "suppose to "have been getting money from outside sources and it was brought up that they could not recieve money from the University or outside sources only under workstudy or being hired for a job outside of school.Again WHO WENT WHERE THIS SEASON? The money they accept is from the scholarship, not an outside source. It's all very legal.
