KCU will play its first game on Monday the 10th at Centre college. Game time is at 4. They have been working really hard. I am sure it has been a learning experience going from high school ball to college. There has been some injuries however many have healed and will be back out there. It is to my understanding they are learning that it is not a first team and second team thing like high school it is moving in and out keeping fresh bodies on the field which is an adjustment for them. The main issue they were told is to make the bus. They need to earn a spot on that bus. We wish all the boys the best of luck on Monday. Make us proud and lets all pray they have a safe travel.

I have heard Wes Hampton might have blown out his knee can someone verify that?

I will confirm that today with his roommate. He was waiting on MRI results as well as another player.

I hope he hangs in there he plays with alot of heart, if I had a team I would want him on he is a good leader.

He posted on MySpace that he sprained his bad knee and maybe dislocated his good kneecap. That was a couple of days ago. Anything more updated?

I know this is a random question but does anyone from the Grayson area know what time Grayson Sporting Goods open tomorrow? Got to get pick up some shirts for the game and cant get times anywhere. Called and it is a fax and they must of closed early.

This JV game, Centre vs. KCU, has been canceled due to heavy rain.

I was at the scrimmage today ... Hat's off to KCU and Coach Damron ... Lot's of excitement and structure around this program with alot more promise than I originally thought ... This program has a huge upside ..

 

One word of advice let's run the ball .... passing every down will result in many three and outs ...

Running game doesn't register with Damron's philosphy,, watched too many years at Boyd Co.

LF13 hope you are wrong , running game in new program has to be a major part or many 3 and outs ... I remember those days at Boyd ... Either way good luck to these kids they are really excited ...
