They probably will struggle early in the season, but in a weaker district like the 38th(Pendleton, Harrison, Nicholas, Deming) they have a good chance of making the regional tournament for the 3rd consecutive year.

What if they draw Pendleton or Harrison? It may depend on the draw, but if they play their best they may make it back to the 10th.

There are no power house teams in the 38th district. Deming has just as good a chance to win it as Harrison, Pendleton, or Nicholas. They may be young at the beginning of the season, but with some playing time who knows what they may have by March. I wish Coach Johnson all the luck in the world with his team and I hope the Deming Devils make the 38th proud other then against PC.
