I don't know how much of a fan of straight, legitimate country artists you are, but Jimmy Dale Gilmore does a freakin' fantastic version of that tune. Current selection: "The Deeper In" by Drive-By Truckers For fans of the band: Jason Isbell has been getting crazy good airplay from 91.9 WFPK in L'ville, and he happens to be playing in Whitesburg (of all places) on Sept. 28, a Friday. I'm gonna try to go, but the logistics might prevent it. Jason's new album is fantastic; I highly recommend you go buy it.
