I watched Gallatin play 6 times.

Gallatin will have a rough start because they lost there 2 best player and a quality role player. I am sorry, but no team in this region I believe could lose Edmonson and Perkins and be better than they were the year before. Not to mention Davis was the strongest player that GC had. They will have there struggles, but they will be tough again. I dont know much about SO but HC lost 6 seniors and Joey Pollard re-tore his ACL this summer. He will be out for a while as well. They will be decent, but I would expect them an Owen to have a run for 2nd.

IMO I thought Gallatin played better w/o Edmonson than they did with him because they had more chemistry together. It took Edmonson a long time to find his place on the team. I agree that Davis was there strongest player, but he was not fundmentally sound. If you watched him play for 6 games as you suggested, you probably noticed that he started games but did not play much in those games. They definitely will miss Perkins, Edmonson, and to some extent, Davis. However, the GC Wildcats will be a better team this year than last. You are correct in almost all aspects. I have always thought that your best players were Perkins, Brown, and Maddox. I think it will take them a while to find their new leader, as I always thought Perkins was a great leader. I thikn they will be extremely competitive again, I just don't thikn they will do as well as they did last year. They had tons of success last year, as they should tis year as well. Gallatin will make it to All A state again and the regional tourney. I don't thikn they will be good enough to knock off a top contender(ie Shelby last year) again. JMO though.

Not sure I understand the question. They won the region the year before last and were upset early in a close game in the opener of the region last year?
