How? There is no point in taking on his salary and not stayin young and building. He isn't going to do anything special for them to become contenders. It's almost like he just made a move to be making one.

For a couple reasons:

1. Charlotte has so much cap money they'll still be able to be in the market for a big name free agent.

 

2. Wright is 3-4 years away from producing anything. No need to keep waiting. They need to start winning.

 

3. Richardson is a scorer who will soften the blow if Wallace leaves.

 

4. They're contenders in the East now.

 

5. If Wallace stays, they could make a deep run the playoffs.

And I actually think Francis will be good for this team...
