June 25, 200719 yr I'm still confused. You're going to have to be more specific. Just about everthing on the end times.
June 25, 200719 yr Just about everthing on the end times. How can it be contraditory when it hasn't happened yet?
June 26, 200719 yr Just about everthing on the end times. Do you have any specific examples in mind that you think are contradictory?
June 27, 200719 yr Do you have any specific examples in mind that you think are contradictory? In Revelations it tells how the end times will come out and then it totally takes a 360 degree turn in the other direction. Read The Bible and you'll see what I'm getting at, not to say you don't read the Bible.
June 27, 200719 yr Not to quote any one persons post on here but look at it like this........................GOD said it, I believe , thats it! This statement goes for anything and any subject in the bible. The more that man tries to reason and explain it the more the stories get twisted into what that certain man or group wants it to mean.
June 27, 200719 yr Now I've heard of a group of former baptists who are saying "God doesn't know what a man does until he does it...thats why bad things happen to good people". I ask the speaker...How would these folks explain the Old testament Prophecy concerning Jesus that came true in the New Testament". Again, these are Think so's of Man. :thumb: :thumb: Excatly, great post and comment AL.

I believe what the bilbe says, but sometimes I have questions I try to find out the answers to. Sometimes I get totally different answers from different pastors or other people.
June 27, 200719 yr Sometimes I get totally different answers from different pastors or other people. People are people and opinions vary. Ask what new car to buy and odds are you'll get several different opinions. You must take these opinions, weigh them against you own experiences and what you read in the Bible, pray for understanding, and reach the best conclusion you can.

Read The Bible and you'll see what I'm getting at, not to say you don't read the Bible. I really need a specific example of what you mean. I've read the Book of Revelations a few times, and while I don't claim an absolute mastery of it, I do have my own opinion and understanding of it, and I don't see any contradictions. BTW, I'm not trying to criticize your opinion or argue with you...it's just that when people mention contradictions in the Bible, I'm always curious. It makes me examine it more closely, and I often learn from it. I figured I'd add that so you wouldn't think I was just waiting to ridicule your opinion or anything. :thumb:

June 28, 200719 yr Author Old...have you been over to the Catholic posts yet. 5Wide has and its been interesting. Maybe I can explain how the noncatholics do things, because the Catholics are doing a great job defending their Faith and we are told by Paul to do just that. I also have added a few things. We are at Leadership FCA camp and I have over 400 kids coming in on Thursday. 200 are from Tennessee. I will be tested. I have my Bama gear ready, and my Bible too.

You have my prayers to give you strength and patience with these ill advised Tenn. youth. (they know not who they cheer for) We just have to keep reminding ourselves, God love the Vols too. :thumb: Keep your Bama gear ready and at arms length though .
June 29, 200719 yr Author My son (10) and I were in the ice cream line and he poked me..."Dad...Look behind you quick". I turned around and a young girl had an auburn cap on. I just looked and said to him "should we kick her out of camp" he said no...but he had to think about his answer. We are having a great time with kids from all different Religions. Camp T-shirt is orange...Yikes. I got to lead a group about some Bible stories and it went real well.
