If Craft does play he will help them a lot. Perry on the other hand will not play. He did not play all last year and has not picked a ball up all summer. I have talked with Perry several times and he always tells me that he is not playing.

Rose Hill over West Carter

Elliott Co over Rowan Co.

Ferguson led with 41 pts.

Elliott Co. over Lawerence Co.

Ethan Faulkner led with 24 pts.

Heard from someone attending this camp that Rose Hill has added a nice point guard to the roster. Also hear they are pretty big across the front line and I dont just mean Euton. Anybody with more detail?

I got to see alot of the tourney an I was wondering if Elliott Co. is whinning even more this year than last or if its just me? You would think a team with this much talent would not worry so much about the officiating

IMO Rose Hill an Elliot is far above the rest of the other teams right now. I think there may be 4-5 teams that could pull an upset come tournament time if there are no injuries. Raceland,Fairview and Ashland are probably the teams right behind the top 2 .With these 3, role players will be the determining factors, with Raceland- Barker,Tolliver and Martin will have to step up, Fairview- Jackson, Collins and Armstrong an Ashland- Coleman and Scaggs

What about Bonner,Thomas, and Bowling they have to step up big time for Ashland to make any kind of run. As for Scaggs he will play backup to Thomas.Next year will be his step up year.:ylsuper:

I am sorry for not mentioning them I took for granted everyone knew they were the stars

And I wouldnt count Boyd ,We all know the Beast they have in the paint.:scared:

I also saw RH play and they played hard.

Greenup was missing 2 of thier top 3 players.

GCHS starting five will look alot different IMO. Several boys not playing summer basketball which includes several players who could/will start for the varsity. Don't everybody know that summer is for Basball.

GCHS will be hurt if Craft and Perry don't play. Look for a losing season. Even though GCHS JV team had very few loses last year.

Anyone have any scores?

What was the score of Elliott over Spring Valley and who won the Rose Hill - Spring Valley game?

According to an "eye witnerss" report from an attendee, Rose Hill, with 8th grader to be Kyle Bush playing much of the game at guard, beat Spring Valley by 12. Rose Hill had three guards who were weren't present.

In the next game Rose Hill, with the same lineup, easily disposed of Rowan County.

I know that many say that this is June and that all of this means nothing. I disagree. Really, the only ones who say that are the supporters of the teams who are doing poorly. These events give us a good idea of what to expect. All teams have missing players but all have the great majority of their players there. The coaches are there so they are not pickup games.

I have read little about PGB's performance. How did they do? How did PGB do against Spring Valley. I heard they cleaned Coal Grove but, as I recall, CG was winless last year and not expected to be much this coming year.

My source told me that Elliott County, Rose Hill, and Spring Valley were the top three teams playing. Since my information is second hand, I would like to know what others thought.
