July 21, 200719 yr It is definently all over the place, not my kind of music but I can appreciate the fact that Jack White may just be the best individual musician on the planet (especially with horrible drummer he has to deal with ) In all seriousness, he is a phenomenal songwriter, can write incredibly catchy songs (with insightful lyrics) without having to succumb to the pressures of the major labels that most every other radio band has fallen to. I love the songs Icky Thump and Rag & Bone. I can't nail exactly who he sounds like in Rag & Bone, especially when he says "give it to us.....we'll give it a,,,,,,,home" Maybe Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans? Maybe I am just crazy.
