Top returning Juniors and Seniors in the 10th region

Featured Replies

Now that we have seen the list for Northern Ky, who are some of the top Juniors and Seniors in the 10 Region for girls basketball? :D

The trio of Desarae Chambers, Lacey Cline and Casey Litzinger for Mason County will be very solid.

I totally agree. Do they have anything after that?

They have a tenth grader that can play. After that, it's a crapshoot. Not much size and not much depth. They will go as far as the three seniors can take them.

Outside of the ultimate goal of reaching the state tournament, developing a couple of players to come off the bench will solidify a an already solid team. Mason County will have a transfer that will provide solid minutes, compete for a starting job, and can step in and help out immediately. With time to learn the system, either adds into the starting lineup, or a solid player off the bench. This will be a different team coming in, one that will be better conditioned, physically and mentally stronger, comlete different attitude.... a team that will be more driven than ever and that process has already started, trust me.

They need more than just a few players to come of the bench. Mason lost 3 seniors last year, 2 of which started. They will probably replace one of them with the Menke girl, but they need to replace another starter and THEN go from there and work on bench players, which the coach doesn't seem to like to go to anyways. The trio will be strong, but should they suffer, have a bad game, or get into foul trouble, what will happen to the rest of the team? It would have a bad outcome on the game.

Once again, Natalie Kelsch at Pendleton County.

Point guard Ashley Pugh is lightning fast and could be a strong threat in breaking down defenses and dishing to Sara Scaggs who is one of the top 3 point shooters in the region.

Deming's Erin Carmack returns. Stephanie Isacc should give Coach Doyle some valuable minutes if she played like the has on jv she'll be called upon to fill Keisha Wood's postion at guard.

Nicholas Co. has alot of young experienced talent coming back. They just need someone to put them in the right mind set for them to be a better than average regional contender. They don't have a whole lot of height but they make up for it in quickness. Hope the right person gets in there and is able to turn the program around.

Do they still have the 2 blonde twins? I think their last name is Wilson.
