The first coach left for what he proclaimed as family reasons.

The next coach left for a double whammy of family reasons that were very much even out of his control and having to choose between family and football, it's obvious to the choice that all of us would take.

I don't know if I stated earlier, but I'm certain that Coach Stilwell who is the most recent to decline would only give positive feedback about Morgan Co. He was really excited about moving to West Liberty.

Those are the reasons, anything else that people may judge that is any different are totally misinformed or reading too much into the situation. It basically boils down to a couple of tough luck decisions. Actually, I've even heard this exact same scenario happened to Morgan Co. once before. Coaches accepting and declining are quite common...ask the Oralando Magic and Billy Donovan.. But perhaps a serious coach with the desire to lead a good group of football players will land in West Liberty.

What is the latest out of West Liberty?

What are the facilities like? How much support would their be in the community?

The facilities are not that great honestly. However, there are "plans" to construct new weight room and locker room for practice use at the high school. The game field is to have some cosmetic repair with new press box/concessions and eventually bleachers.

I can't predict or pinpoint on a date of expected START of these projects. But they are documented by the board facilities planning committee.

The community support drives the program and rivals any EKY AA school. There is a LOT of community support for football.

As far as an update...there are plans for interviews to begin once again early next week, as of now...it's still open for applications.

I heard that a New or newest head coach at Morgan is an assistant at Rowan. Not sure of the name but is this a rumor or is this the person that Morgan has been looking for?

Would it be a coordinator that Baldridge brought in? How much longer does Baldridge have at Rowan?

I hope the find someone who is knowledgeable and eager to get the wheels turning as soon as he can at Morgan. I hope the Athletic Director and board who hires this new coach get things straightened as soon as possible. :thumb:

There will be a new coach named by the end of this week.

Third times a charm, good luck

Nets can you give us some insight on who the candidates are this go around?
