The Galloping Ghost Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Is there any Kentucky boys looking to go in the MLB draft on June 7th or 8th? Here is the site.
Covercorner Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Ben Revere from Lex. Catholic was ranked near the 90-100 mark of all prospects on one of the services.
TheCoach Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I have heard from a M's scout that they are projecting Cooper from Boyle 10-12 rounder. I think there are a lot of players from KY this year that could go. And bye a lot I mean 3 - 5
The Galloping Ghost Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 I think it will be wise for Ben to develop more at the college level. There are more and more players that play college that get drafted then players that get drafted right of high school. Also, the players that get drafted from the college ranks have higher success at making it at the Major League level.

00Rocket28 Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Brohm LOL, If I remember correctly though, I believe the Rockies drafted Michael Vick when was still in school
NamecipS Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 From Yahoo's mock draft... 15) Cincinnati Reds: Julio Borbon, OF, Tennessee – One of the most well-stocked organizations in baseball, the Reds can go in plenty of different directions. Early projections linked them to Houston-area third baseman Kevin Ahrens, though this seems a bit early. Borbon, the polished outfielder, seems a better fit, much like Texas center fielder Drew Stubbs was last season. Really?
STRIKE3 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 These are two of my favorite days, of the year. College and High School players, getting a chance to live out a dream and play professional baseball....

SvFan4life Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 No surprise that the Braves are looking to add pitching in this years draft.
cvillecat Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Price from Vandy, to the Devil Rays... Great pick for Tampa. this kid will be in the big leagues very soon. Also, the draft is being shown live on ESPN 2.
