They will play one game together. The All Star Game got rained out at Mienken last year. Also....good advise to the young tallent Old Guy.

Nothing against Vince, but I would personally take Matt Nichols at 3rd. Matt's .465 average with 19 XBHs including 8 HRs, stands above Vince's .414, 15 XBH season

I guess not knowing the formula for choosing I won't complain. It seem to be a great bunch of kids that were chosen.

 

Congratulations to everyone that was picked. And to the ones that weren't, it doesn't mean you could not have been. Keep you heads up and continue playing strong. I think there are a lot of good ball players in the 9th region right now.

Also, one thing not mentioned was Luke Maile was named D1 player of the year, and Jimmy Ryan was named D2 player of the year.

Thought Fuchs fron Newcath get a nod at 2B, had a solid defensive year, 4 errors in 30+ games, turned about 10 DP's, but never got to hit, anyway congrats to all, been a great year.
