Kendall is going to be a top player in the 14th for the next several years. Another underclassmen that will be a canidate for POY in a few years is Mika Turner of Owsley County.

1. Heather Sturdivant - Sees the floor well and is as fast as lightning.

2. Megan Mosley - She could very easily be number one. She is known for her speed and her shooting. I sure wouldnt lece this girl open for to long.

3. Lenae Shouse - With the height she has I dont think anyone can compete with her when it comes to post players.

4. Allison Feltner - This girl is a force to reckoned with. She is very rough and will help Sturdivant out by doing the dirty work.

5. Kendall Noble - This girl will only be an 8th grader but she has already proven herself by grabbing the regional championship mvp.

6. Sharaye Kincer - She is another who is rough and ready to go to war on the boards. She may not be an offensive threat but you can bet she is going to battle with anyone down low.

7. Ashley Hall - She may not have much help this year but you can bet that isnt going to slow this kid down. As with Mosley, I wouldn't leave this one open for long.

8. Kendra Thomas - She isnt known for her shot but she along will battle on the boards with absolutely anyone. During the district and regional tournaments Kendra really stepped it up and started scoring relieveing some of the load off of Mosley's back.

9. Sammy King - The 8 and 9 spots could very easily be switched around because what one doesnt do the other does. King came through time after time hitting shots KCC despertly needed. Against Leslie in the regional tournament at the buzzer she hit the 3 that tied the game. Look for her to cause some noise.

10. Brittany Sexton - The sister of Ashley Sexton, what more can you say. She may not be as quick as her sister but what her sister lacked in height Brittany picked up. She is the tall one of the two coming in close to 5'10 or 5'11. She helped LCC alot last year look for her to pick up where her sister left off this year.

***Note*** Teirra Baker has decided not to play for LCC this year. Thus this is why she is not mentioned.*** Mika Turner could very well be in the top ten but I havent really seen anything from her the games I have watched her play***

Studivant is definately the best in the region. I watched her play against the KY All Stars and she held her own respectively. Does anyone know if Sturdivant has taken the ACT or SAT? I know there are several coaches wanting her in the college ranks.

Mosley is a very good player as well. She is right there with Sturdivant. Jut think if these two would of played together at KCC? Maybe Sturdivant would of made a couple trips to Diddle Arena with Mosley at her side.

Leslie County has some good young kids coming up so look out for them.

Breathitt will be pretty tough but losing their pointguard and Lutz will hurt some.

If your talkin about Kendall Noble then that would be a false rumor because she is NOT leaving Breathitt this year, this came from her!

Kendall would have to be crazy to leave Breathitt to go to Owsley. Breathitt has some good young talent coming up and I think Noble will stay in Jackson for a while. I have to give the edge to Perry Centrals girls this year but after Sturdivant graduates things will become interesting. We will see what coaches really work the hardest in developing their young teams.

You're correct. Kendall Noble is not enrolled at Owsley.

The Feltner girl will be all the size Perry Central needs this year. They have the guards to run and press everyone all over the floor in this region and should walk right out of here to Bowling Green. They have some great freshman that can play right now for them to go along with Sturdivant and the rest of the returning players. Coach Napier will have them ready to go! Kendall Noble is a great player and she will take Breathitt County to new levels, but the real MVP was sitting on the sidelines with a torn up knee, Kristen Madden from Perry Central. If it were not for her hurting her knee, PCC would of been right back in Bowling Green just like they will this year.

I agree Madden would of walked away with the 14th Region MVP award this past season. Mad Dog was a fine girl and a heck of a player. How is she doing at Berea?
