A couple of good pitchers would make all the "problems" go away. Lack of pitching makes a good offensive team an average team and a couple good pitchers make a bad offensive team a good team.

Well Hitking5, I noticed that you haven’t mentioned any other non-roster seniors yet that could have turned this team around. That’s too bad because I was giddy with anticipation to discuss your theory that the Boone Baseball program is somehow anti-senior. Don’t worry yourself about it because I’m apparently used to disappointments, after all, I am a Boone fan.

 

In fact, I really don’t want to play anymore because I think it’s pretty apparent that your reason for posting isn’t to hold an intelligent discussion among true Baseball Fans but more of a way to bash the Boone County Baseball Program. I’m assuming for some personal reason.

 

Before I leave though, I will make a bold statement. In my humble opinion, there has only been one and only one non-returning player in the last two years that could have been an impact player for Boone if they had played their senior year. That was Tanner Williams and from what I understand, he had some shoulder issues and was told not to play for medical reasons. So no Waffleking5, there is no bias against seniors at Boone County. If they are good enough to play, they’ll play.

 

Oh, if you’ve noticed, I haven’t made a single mention of your comment on Coach Wilhoite “getting the boot”. That’s because responsible adults don’t spread rumors.
