Big Blue, it looks like the man behind the curtin is at it again.

With how hot Beechwood is right now i wouldn't consider this a big upset. They are district rivals and anything can happen. Watch out if Beechwood wins the All A, they will have A LOT of momentum coming into this game.

I will be totally shocked if Beechwood wins the All A w/out Elliott pitching in at least one of the games. However, they will make it to the finals and anything can happen w/this bunch, defend your title Tigers!

You always have a chance when you have Coach Myerhoff on your side. He flat out knows the game of baseball. I wish him and his team nothing but the best! Just wish I was there with them!

I see an Elliott/Blesser match up on Wed. If Beechwood can pull another upset they will be the undisputed #1 seed in the district, no tiebreakers necessary.

 

 

Sorry ,do not see beating Holy Cross a SECOND time is an upset .Beechwood beat them earlier this year in the All A tourney .I would however say beating Cov Cath ,this first time ,would be an upset .Could be hard to beat a good team the third time

UPSET-to defeat an opponent favored to win. Being a person who could care less about rankings, I still look at them. So, going on the NKY rankings, Beechwood beating HC is an upset according to the definition and where each team is ranked. Call it what want, a win is a win.

 

Coachg, you aren't going to get me going on this one. W/Elliott pitching Beechwood can beat anyone in the region.

 

By the way, why would beating CCH be an upset in your opinion. HC beat them and Beechwood beat HC twice, shouldn't be an upset then.

Its all about how teams match up and who pitches, Cov. Cath has the better team and will have their best pithcer pitching, if beechwood wins, it will be an upset. if you are applying that beechwood is the better team, you are out of your mind.

The CovCath team was told by Coach Krumps today/yesterday that when (you got to think positive) CovCath beats Beechwood on Wednesday, the district tie will be broken by a blind draw by the three teams who have tied. Just posting what I was told.....

Aw 3ptshooter, you guys are the defending state runner ups and soon to be All "A" Classic Baseball Champions. Poor CovCath, they will have to pray hard to the baseball gods to help them play on that field that many (note not me, or anyone from CovCath) have called the worst baseball field in the Commonwealth..... :scared: :scared: :scared:

Not trying to get you going .IMO IT IS NOT .BUT HAVE ONLY SEEN EACH PLAY ONCE .

Agree , w/Cody on the mound they can beat anyone in the region .

Not applying or implying anything. Another post implied that BHS beating HC was not an upset. CCH might be the better team BUT, BHS will also have their best pitcher on the mound and he is hard to beat. Remember, the best team doesn't always win!
