Coach Mac Whitaker Notches 800th Win

Featured Replies

Coach Mac Whitaker picked up his 800th win tonight in Harrison County's 11-1 win over Pulaski County. A happy but very somber night as was obvious during the post game interview. Coach Whitaker talked about all the good help that he had over the years and that his biggest regret was that his long time Assistant Coach Ron Herrington was not there with him tonight to get the 800th win. Congratulations Coach Whitaker!

Just how many basketball wins does this man have if he has 800 baseball wins?

Congrats to Coach Whitaker.

On the basketball side, I have learned a lot from this HOF coach and respect what he has accomplished at Harrison County.

LBM, don't know the win total but know that he is the ONLY Harrison County girls bball coach to ever win a regional title at Harrison County. And he did it twice.

Let me emphasize "looney" legend:laugh:

His record speaks for itself.

Probably my favorite coach to watch in the state...

Outstanding accomplishment, from one of the best High School coaches.
