X in a shocker.

Don't they have an equal record??

St X has played a pretty weak local schedule. I don't know about the out of state teams. On paper, it looks like Trinity, but you can't ever tell in this game.

X 2-0

Trinity limited to one hit (with 2 out in the seventh) and two base runners.

X only had three hits. They scored both runs in the 4th. Walk, passed ball runner to second, base hit runner scores from second-batter gets to third during an attempt to throw runner out at the plate, wild pitch scores the runner.

Trinity hasn't been hitting well against good teams this year.

Mastery pitching performance for the St Edward alumnus McCormick- 11 strike outs-Only Holland and Brady didn't fan for Trinity.

I think 3 home runs get hit if this game is played in a high school park- Kal Scheler and Kevin Brinkman from X and Holland from T all hit bombs that the outfielders ran down in the big park- Brinkman's to the edge of the warning track in straightaway center or about 395 feet!

Tigers get Fern Creek,Male, Lex Catholic and Butler this week!

The region will be a total shoot out! So far this season Eastern beats X. Ballard beats Trinity. Male beats Ballard! Male beats Eastern. J'Town beats Eastern and X. Manual beats X. Trinity wins 5 out of 7 against the top ten teams in the state. T not hitting against top teams? They hit PRP Dunbar and Danville okay. Are they overscheduled? (PRP, Lexington Catholic, Ballard, Christian County, Dunbar twice and Danville are all ranked in the top 11 with T being 6th. )

Let's not forget about Fern Creek and Seneca in the region too.

Thanks for passing along the score.

Congratulations Tigers on a great win!

Excellent game by both squads. As to the playoffs later in the season, it is so difficult to get out of Jefferson County in any sport.
