April 22, 200719 yr Author Went to OSU's spring game yesterday and man that's a different atmosphere. 75,000 were in attendance. #11 looked the best for OSU at Qb. The other qb #7 (I believe Hittman) wasn't very impressive. One thing's for sure, OSU's punter is one tough cookie...he ran a fake punt and destroyed a DB at the end of the play and flattened him.
April 22, 200719 yr How did Guidugli play??? Ben was on the field for a majority of the time. I think he was only thrown to 2 or 3 times. One ball he should have had, the others were bad passes. He was getting open downfield, but like I stated before Carey (Black team QB) was running for his life most of the game. The TE in UCs offense is split out quite a bit, being more of a slot reciever. This will benefit Ben.

If I had to put a number to how many times he lined up on the line, I would say around 20% of the time. I read in the paper today that UC has a transfer QB coming in? What is his eligibility status, and do you know of his skill level?

He will be good to go by summer camp and it's very likely he's going to be the starter. He will only have one year of eligibility. He set a bunch of Ohio state records running the spread in HS, but he didn't get the chance to throw it much at Wake...

Do you see coach Kelley as someone who sticks here, or with some success does he move to greener pasture as so many UC coaches have done. I would love to see Kelley build the program and stay with it for a long period.

But we all know how quickly that can change when the big boys throw loads of cash around...
