April 14, 200719 yr . Would you still go to UK, know matter how much you grew up loving them, if you were going to sit the bench for 4 years? I would, absolutely.
April 14, 200719 yr I would, absolutely. If my name showed up on the roster for four years, had my face in the team picture for four years, and had UK gear that was all my own and not something bought from Finish Line or somewhere else, then absloutely I would sit for four years. To a Kentucky boy there is nothing like being a wildcat. Just ask Stockton, Blevins, and company if they minded any?
April 14, 200719 yr Nobody in his right mind would pay for school if it is being offered free somewhere else even if it does mean not getting to be a "Wildcat" at UK go be a wildcat at another school for free. I disagree 100%. If a kid has dreamed of playing somewhere, and can make it work, why not? If you want to be a Wildcat that bad, more power to you.
April 14, 200719 yr Thing is...He's a Gym Rat and may well develop into a great player, be it at the 2 or 3 spot, so, he may not sit as much as you think....

Uk isn't looking for players that are projects. We want people who can come in and help now. If this was any normal year then thats ok to take a project or 2 but UK needs to get back on track.

It depends on what you want to do, and where you really want to go. The money in most cases IMO should not be a concern.
April 15, 200719 yr So Moss was on full academic scholarship at UK? Must have been a pretty smart kid. I go to UK and I'm not aware of a whole lot of people that have full paid academic scholarships. How many of the 26,000 students do you know?
April 15, 200719 yr Author How many of the 26,000 students do you know? Everyone single one. Naw, just kidding. But honestly not to brag but I was a 4.0 student in high school and received some scholarship money from the university for my academics, but no where near a full paid ride. My roommate is one of the few I've heard that did receive a full paid academic scholarship and his ACT score? Try 34. So I'm just saying that Ravi must've been pretty smart kid, not saying nothing bad at all about him. Sorry if my statement was taken the wrong way.
