I am thinking about purchasing some new Titleist 695 MB irons, has anyone heard anything about them or hit them before? Any input would be great!

When you get them in the sweet spot, they are....well sweet. But they are not very forgiving.

I have the Titleist 690MB's, really like them. I've always played with blades and have Muzuno's MP 14's.

Well thanks for the input guys, Ill prolly just go hit a few different sets this weekend. Strike, do you like your Mizuno's? I hear the MP's are some of the best irons ever.

I would suggest going out and trying anything before you buy them. Some Dick's and specialty stores will have some demo's you can hit in the store, and keep your eye out for Demo Days. Man O'War Golf in Lexington should be having one soon, either end of April to the middle of May, and Cherry Blossom will be having one in that time span as well.

Old Silo is having a Demo Day on April 20th I believe. I'll double-check the day and time and let you all know.

I loved them, until I hit the 690's....They are more consistent on distances, than the Mizuno's.

 

I can hit my wedge, between 140-150 and on occasion, I would be 130-160, with my 49° Mizuno. I use S300 shafts in both, so the flex is the same.

 

You can't go wrong with either.

Well, S3, you're out of my league. I hit a 7 iron, and sometimes a 6, from those distances.

The way I see it any Titleist is great. I play with 735's and love them to death.
