Most people in Lexington don't want growth, thus the planning is to retard it. Still regarding traffic, it's a little bad during rush hour but any other time you can get just about anywhere in fifteen minutes. It does help to know the grid since the traffic is designed for dispersal rather than concentration along major routes like most cities. I've lived here for thirty five years now and if you want to see bad traffic, you only need to go North an hour on I75 or West on I64.
