Lets say UK can only nab one of these 2 prospects. With the condition of the current program, which of the 2 does UK need most?

I choose Lucas, because I don't think they have a legit PG on the team. I think you need a really good pg to run the offence and take care of the ball to go deep in the tournament.

 

If Morris leaves, it would change my choice.

I agree they could use a PG, but, with Bradley, Jasper, Meeks, Crawford and Porter all adequate guards, and the front line being so thin with the loss of Woo, Perry, Thomas and possibly Morris, I have to give the need to the post player, Patterson....

I think that they are a package deal. If we get one I think we will get the other. It all comes down to Lucas in my mind. If he comes, UK becomes Patterson's favorite.

I guess it depends what you call beef....Williams is beefy, but, didn't even play in HS this year, so, makes you wonder if he'll be able to contribute, AJ Stewart is more of a SF type and Carter's coming off an injury and is still an unproven commodity, so, for these reasons, I'll go with Patterson as the bigger need....Lucas could give us that PG who can run the show and also penetrate and score, but, we're a whole lot better off at the guard slot then at the PF or C slot...
