Now that the season is drawing toward it's end :cry: who would you put on your All-Mountain team?Regions 13-15 is the general mountain area I'd say.5 starters and 7 reserves.

From the 14th Hicks fom Hazard and Romans from Powell would sure have to be on the team.

Proffit is headed to Irish country and should be considered, for an All-State spot, in my opinion.

 

Cox appears to be an excellent shooter and will get only better, with age and size.

 

Case from Belfry is impressive, along with McCarty from Johnson Central and Slone from Paintsville. I also like Whitaker, from Bell County as a PG.

Well in no particular order my All-Mountain team would include:Tye Proffit-South Laurel,John Smith-Harlan,Justin Hicks-Hazard,Ryan Whitaker-Bell County,Jordan Hammonds-South Laurel,Desmond Johnson-Cumberland,Dustin Day-Pineville,Ryan Romans-Powell County,Landon Slone-Paintsville,Clark Steppe-JBS,Trey Smith-South Laurel,Josh Crawford-Corbin.There are some others in the 14th or 15th that may be worthy,but haven't really got a good look at enough of them.

I like both....One is cool under pressure and runs the offense, the other is extremely athletic and both play each end of the court well.

James Strange and Dustin Day from Pineville both seem to step it up... People put so much emphasis on the big dawg and they forget about James.

I may even throw Ryan Collins from Allen Central on the list after the performance he had against Phelps in the regional. 37pts on 14/16 shooting 5 steals 5/6 from 3pt land. One of the best performances in the 15th this season.

I saw the 6'6 Day play against Clay County last year and was really impressed with him.
