I agree with this guy. I really don't think Henderson meant to harm anyone, or that bad, but he did, that's a fact. But no one from Duke seems interested in saying something like "We didn't mean for that to happen, but hey we are sorry." But for coach K to even say that Williams shouldn't have had him out there that late is ridiculous. Do you accidently run into someone at the store or whatever, and no say im sorry? Hmmm Duke basketball program in denial "What's really embarrassing about Gerald Henderson's chop to Tyler Hansbrough's nose is how little losing it takes to bring out the spoiled, whiny, rich (itch) in the Duke basketball program. And in typical Duke and Coach K snottiness, Henderson, his coach and the Blue Devils are pretending as though Henderson did nothing wrong. Coach K even slyly insinuated that Roy Williams was foolish for leaving Hansbrough on the floor that late in the game. Obviously, the Duke basketball program can do no wrong. You would think that Coach K and his band of followers would be smart enough to realize how dangerous it is to confirm the perception that Duke athletes are above reprimand, filled with a sense of entitlement and arrogance and spoiled. Duke athletes are despised because of the holier-than-thou, do-no-wrong attitude of Coach K. "
March 12, 200719 yr I like Shane Battier. In the spirit of the thread, per truthaboutduke.com ..... Consider the case of J.R. Reid's frontcourt running mate, Scott Williams. By all accounts, a great person, Williams suffered the worst imaginable tragedy when he lost both his parents in a murder-suicide shooting. Several of the good-natured, creative Dukies responded at the next Duke-UNC game with clever shouts of 'Orphan, Orphan!' as Williams was introduced.
