You think Corbin's second game in the district will be easier?:confused:

No, it won't be easier. 1st game, you have jitters, knowing now it is do or die time.

Corbin should be the team to beat in the 50th next year with Whitley not far behind then south and williamsburg.

What a game by both teams. Both teams played hard and both did the things they needed to do to win, but like everyone else I agree that Crawford was the difference. He has so many tools, and he makes everyone around him better.

 

I was amazed that Whitley was able to sustain the high level of play for the whole game. The colonels seemed to get a little tired late but never gave in. For Corbin they elevated their game when they needed it but the longer Whitley stayed around the tighter Corbin seemed to become, but it was a gutsy effort by the Redhounds and one worthy of the great atmosphere at the game.

I agree with Apex it a was a great atmosphere. It was tourney time in Kentucky. Both teams played well and I expect both to have big seasons next year.

Corbin's present and future is bright. They are playing very well.

I'm with you on this, I feel like Corbin will be the top team with what they have returning but , IMO South will not just fall off the face of the basketball world they will contend in this district as well as the region, just not dominate like the last two years.

I kept thinking that South had another player who played JV last year that was pretty good and I couldn't remember who it was, I think that Jones was who I was thinking about. Did he transfer to South from either Wayne Co. or Monticello a couple of years ago? Why is he not playing?

No, he didn't transfer ... he's been at South for as long as I can remember. I believe his mom played for one of the Laurel County state champions.

One of their juniors transferred in as a freshman or sophomore, but I can't recall which one.
