However I just pointed out in this thread that another top notch school has also passed up on a great basketball player who pretty much begged to play at a school yet they still passed them up, and they go on to tear up that team that turned them down... :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

And at the time we had 2 mcdonald all-american guards coming, and another guard who was also suppose to be better than Lofton. Both coaches missed out on great players who wanted to play at those schools. So Tubby isn't the only one who has messed up really bad, and that is my point...
February 20, 200719 yr Author What's your point? They are both underachieving this year! My point was to more try to put an end to all of this Lofton discussion completely with this one final thread. It was to show that even a great coach like Olson has screwed up, and not taking a great player that wanted to play for him...

February 21, 200719 yr Author Two wrongs don't make a right:) True but some people on here seemed to believe that Tubby must have been the ONLY coach not to take a player that really wanted to play at the school who ended up being great...
February 21, 200719 yr He blew it with Lofton. It left a scar on a lot of the UK faithful. It's not going anywhere until he graduates and it will probably still be around. We have the Lofton thread now which should help on here.
