The Clippers, who have had talks before with the Nets about Carter, are still a possibility. All teams other than Orlando risk having Carter walk after the season, unless there's some sort of wink-wink deal reached before this summer. But as of today, we have no doubt that the Carter Era in Jersey -- short as it's been – is getting very close to its expiration date. Not that he'll be traded before Thursday's deadline (the options aren't there, as of today), but that they'll undoubtedly go the sign-and-trade route in the days after the 2007 NBA draft, when everything goes up for sale. Please don't send him to the Clipps'. Also, he could go to Utah or Cleveland. They need some backcourt scoring. I wouldn't mind either one.

That pretty much gives up on this season. They can't make a deep run with Bynum as their Center right now. Not that they can with Brown and Mihm anyways just saying. I guess it is time to get rid of them.

Mihm hasn't played and won't this season. But Brown is due to come back any day now I believe. I makes sense for Cap reasons also so I guess it wouldn't be to bad.

Radmanovic suffered the injury when he fell on a patch of ice in Park City, Utah on Saturday. He returned to Los Angeles yesterday and was examined by team doctor Steve Lombardo. MRI and CT scan tests done today confirmed the injury as a separated shoulder. Injuries are piling up on the Lakers right now.

February 20, 200719 yr That trade would work for the Lakers. They are doing without those two C's right now as is. Turiaf is doing a pretty good job filling in. It will hurt without Radmanovich giving a little more depth there, but Walton is due back this week. Will be interesting to see what happens this week. Hopefully some big trades actually happen.
