He's just mad he wasn't the MVP

I can't read "tone of voice" but those don't really sound like they are ripping him to me... Looks like they are applauding his effort.

That's what I'm saying... You have to know the context that it was said in... You have to know their tone of voice... Read it again, you can kind of take it either way.

 

The only part that makes me question intent is Wade saying he wanted to get everyone involved.

 

The section of the article does nothing to tell you what question was asked that they replied to though... It kind of leaves it up to you to decide.

NBA stars walk a fine line when it comes to winning the All-Star MVP award. Try too hard, and a player runs the risk of looking selfish. At the same time, nobody wants to be clowned in front of a national TV audience and a crowd full of celebrities and rap stars.

 

Bryant, a player who has never cared what other players think about him when he steps between the lines, clearly has less ambivalence in that regard than most of his peers. After the Lakers star took home the MVP trophy Sunday, several East players said they could tell right away Kobe had the trophy on his mind.

Vince & the Nets look to be parting ways & one place he could go to would be the Magic.

 

He would have a better chance at getting in the playoffs this season & since Kidd could be leaving the Nets also, it might turn out to be a good thing for Vince. I would like to see him play along side Bogans & Arroyo.

Then again, it's possible. I think back to the reluctance of the Nets to give K-Mart his big deal and it seems that they're a bit of a cheap franchise.
