Lawrence County (7-1) #6 in 3A travels to North Laurel (4-4), on Tuesday to play a makeup game postponed due to weather. This will be third game in 8 days for both teams.

Lawrence County only lost this year is to #1 4A Ashland Blazers 14-19. Lawrence County lost last year was to North Laurel 0-21, and to Bell County in the 3rd round of playoffs 6-16.

This year North Laurel is 4-4, and # 16 in 5A, loosing to:

Corbin 14-4, Madison Central 23-41, Collins 27-34, and Pulaski County 8-36.

How much of this game was played before? Do they just resume play where they left off? Are they playing a JV or Freshman game or is this just finishing varsity and heading back home?

Not sure how much of the game was played, if any. The game has a start time of 6pm, it should be just varsity. These coaches/teams have a short turnaround to prepare for this game. Do they go their game plans from 18 September? Or have thing changed too much. This has big impact on Lawrence County's RPI , if they pull off the win the should move up a couple positions. North Laurel has lost to very good teams and would not be surprised if they win tomorrow.

I'm almost positive I saw some highlights on WYMT the night of the postponement, so I think it had started at least.

What meaningful RPI implications does this game have?

If Lawrence County holds on to win this game against a 5A opponent (1.322 mulplier), #2-#6 are very close, they could move up from #6 to top #4. Lloyd Memorial has a weak 5A opponent , Boone County for their last game, but it also will help their RPI (1.322) Lexington Catholic has toughest last game against Ashland Blazers. Then Lawrence county has the next best opponent in Boyd County. We could see it coming down to OOWP. I can see Lawrence county moving up maybe 3rd
