Campbell County (3-5, 0-2) makes the trip to Georgetown to face Great Crossing (1-7, 1-1) this Friday. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The Camels are coming off of 2 straight close district losses, 13-6 at Ryle, and 13-12 at home against Simon Kenton. The defense has been pretty solid outside of a few mistakes and are looking to keep building strong into the playoffs. The offense has been able to push the ball down the field but has struggled to turn those yards into points.

The Warhawks have had a pretty tough schedule this year and finally got their 1st win against SK 2 weeks ago. They played Ryle close for the 1st half but eventually came up short 27-6. They've had a fairly balanced offense this year, but their defense has struggled against a very tough schedule.

A lot can happen this week in 6A district based on wins and losses. Does Campbell County have enough firepower to bring home a win from Georgetown? Or will Great Crossing find what it takes to get their 2nd district win and a chance to host a 1st round playoff game?

Forecast for the game shows clear skies with temps in the lower 60s/upper 50s.

I think the Camels can pull this one off. If Ryle beats SK, what are the tiebreakers for 3 teams at 1-2 in district?

To answer your question on a 3 way tie. Rather it be a 3 way tie for first, or a 3 way tie for second behind Ryle. RPI in both scenarios would determine it.

So if Campbell wins and Ryle beats SK. Then it would be a three way tie and RPI would determine the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seeds.
