St. X (2-5) travels to North Hardin (4-2) with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 pm. St. X is coming off a 36-10 loss to Manual, and North Hardin is coming off a 49-7 win over Pleasure Ridge Park.

Last year, St. X won 40-7.

If St. X were a racehorse, they would be coming off 4 big stake races where they were beaten by several lengths in all of them but now are dropping down in class with the rest of the district, but sometimes a horse that drops down in class can still get beat. North Hardin galloped around PRP and is ready to see if they can beat the beaten-up stakes horse.

It's been a while since the St. X offense has scored more than 10 points. North Hardin against the quality opponents of Oldham County and Pulaski County gave up 51 points to Pulaski County and 35 to Oldham County. St. X should be able to generate some offense in this game. North Hardin scored 36 and 49 in their last two games against Oldham County and PRP so the St. X defense will need to be ready.

The TP94 ratings:

St. X 76.66

North Hardin 46.17

This is a key district matchup as the winner most likely will finish 2nd in the district. St. X is 5-0 against North Hardin going back to 1999. Can North Hardin get the upset or does St. X get back on the winning track?

North Hardin struggles mightily against a decent running attack.

St. X wins big.
