The Lexington Christian Academy Eagles (4-2) travel to face the Shawnee Golden Eagles (2-4) on Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in a Class 2A District 4 matchup.

LCA enters the game riding a three-game winning streak. After a challenging opening schedule that included undefeated Pulaski County and undefeated Christian Academy-Louisville, the Eagles have responded with wins over Franklin County, Lexington Catholic, and W.E.B. DuBois. The win over W.E.B. DuBois was particularly important, as the Lions entered the game with one of the better records in Class 2A and a five-game winning streak.

Shawnee enters the game at 2-4. The Golden Eagles have wins over Western (20-6) and Fort Knox (32-13), while their losses have come against Iroquois (33-14), Thomas Nelson (10-0), Central (58-0), and Danville (41-0). Despite the record, Shawnee has faced a challenging schedule and will be looking to earn a key district win on its home field.

Who wins, and what is your score prediction?

LCA running clock in the first quarter or early second quarter. JV gets a lot of reps and the varsity gets a lot of rest.

LCA 48-0.

LCA could win this 75-0 if they wanted to. Incredible mismatch.
