🇾🇪 | Knocked down a peg or two by Woodford County following a 4-0 start. The Cards are now the ones in position to spoil an unbeaten season.

🐎 | Dominated four teams with losing records before stifling fellow surprise unbeaten Lafayette last week. West Jess ranks among the state's top scoring defenses, having not allowed double digits in any game so far.

✏️ 📖 | GRC leads the all-time series 2-1. All meetings have come since 2021, including last year's 35-14 win by the Cardinals.

I'm very intrigued by this one. I think West Jess has the potential to make some noise in 5A. If that is true, then they'll have to take care of business this week.

This looks like a great game on paper. I like West Jess in this one. Very impressed how the program has been built. Good luck to both squads.

West beats GRC 35-14, but I think the Colts are also a frail contender in the 5A big picture. They are beneficiaries of a super cupcake schedule. A 2A, two 4As, and two 6A doormats...they very well could sweep the rest of their schedule, so I am interested to see if they win decisively, or if it is a fight to the end.
