Warren East had a nine game winning streak against the crosstown Dragons up until last season. Warren Central won a 58-45 shootout at home and hope to turn this series back to its old ways.

Two totally different teams in terms of leadership as Coach Davidson and Coach Foley are in their 1st year at these schools. Warren Central opened their four game road stretch with a tough 21-13 loss to Allen County last week falling to 0-3 on the season. Warren East is sitting at 2-1 with shutout wins over Ohio County and Central Hardin. Their lone loss was to Greenwood 15-14, a safety being the 2 points needed to lift the Gators over the Raiders.

A couple of big time players for the Dragons in SR QB Dunn and SR WR North. North went for 12 catches, 124 yards and 2 TD's against WE last season. Dunn finished that game 21/29 with 274 yards and 4 TD's. The Raiders have a good weapon in JR WR Douglass, he's been quiet offensively the last couple of game and they'll hope he has a few explosives tomorrow night.

Unlike the 103 total points last year, this will be a low scoring game. I like this Warren East defense, they play fast and have guys who like to get to the football. As long as they're able to contain the Dunn to North connection they'll win this game in good fashion.

Warren East 21-6.

We'll see if Warren Central remembers how to catch the forward pass this time.

Would have to give the edge to Warren East, seemingly having momentum in this season leading up to this point.

Defense is at the top of the class right now in points per game and the offense had an 18 play drive during the Central Hardin contest.

Central Hardin was 0-4 passing and had 2 interceptions. I figure there will be more attempts than that in this game.

Dunn throwing and scrambling as well as North getting behind the defense would be my concerns for the Raiders.

Give me the Raiders by a couple scores.

I see a great night for the Raiders defense as they seem to be firing on all cylinders, and the Offense has to click at some point.

If Coach Foley's offense is able to control the clock and put some 10+ play drives together, sidelining the Dunn/North connection, the Raider defense will stay fresh. Getting pressure on Dunn should be a priority, while keeping him in the pocket.

That being said, both teams have made more mistakes than they would like this year. So this game comes down to who makes the least mental mistakes.

Raiders Win 28-14

Central has finally found some semblance of defense this year.... and completely forgotten how to play offense. Their first season with two zeroes put up since 2020 and we're just four games in.

Warren East defense leads the way again!

Been keeping track of the defense since Coach Parmley left Glasgow and came on as the DC down at Warren East. I thought Central would score on a broken play or deep ball, but was kept in check.
