Kentucky Country Day rebounded nicely last week with a huge win over Spencer County on the road 42-41. They welcome in DeSales who just lost a heartbreaker to Louisville Holy Cross in overtime 27-24. Who wins this cross town matchup? Does Kentucky Country Day keep its momentum going forward? Does DeSales steal a huge road win?

Coach Jackson is a good high school football coach and his Colts play hard, but they simply need more firepower. KCD takes this one.

If DeSales can't beat Holy Cross then they aren't beating KCD.

I'm leaning towards KCD as well. But this matchup keys my interest because of how close the WEB Dubois game was and then how well they handle KCD. District 2 is going to be the Wild West this season.

If KCD plays like they did last night, they roll. If they play like they did against DuBois, DeSales wins. It all comes down to protecting the ball. Also helped that both Batts-Hobbs and Davidson are back to 100%. Last night showed why you don't rule out Coach Matthew Jones.
