Can someone please refresh my memory - what round of the playoffs can a team from Districts 1-4 play a team from 5-8?

Also - is this changing in an upcoming season?

Round 4.

Next year they will start RPI in the second round and rank them 1-8, but it will still be split between East and West till the semi's.
