Kentucky Country Day welcomes in WeB Dubois for a 1A vs. 2A matchup. Both these teams lost heart breakers last week. Kentucky Country Day was leading last week against Sayre 19-7 with 4 minutes and change left, a couple penalties and Sayre recovering a muffed kickoff. Sayre would score on both to take the lead 22-19 and win the game. WEB DuBois chose to go for the win down 19-18 and didn't convert, but got the ball back on onside recovery, but threw a pick to end the game. So one of these teams will get win number 1 on the season.

This should be a good game. Quiet in here too.

Nice win for WEB DuBois.

Yes it is. Very good road win too.

After a 13-7 halftime score, DuBois ran away with it after a few Bearcat turnovers. To add insult to injury from last weeks collapse, Batts Hobbs and Davidson were both hurt on the final drive of the Sayre game, and both played one drive tonight before things got out of hand. Coach Durant has Dubois on the right trajectory, and they should continue to climb the ladder.

As far as KCD goes, Coach Jones will get the Bearcats back on track. Uncharted territory after losing 19 seniors off of a state championship team, but I expect the Bearcats to improve each week before October 9th at Holy Cross.
