35-0 at halftime. Great Crossing is still running the ball very inconsistently but with a running clock the game is going very quickly.

The Great Crossing coaches remind me of the guy in the stands that says “Watch the run! Watch the pass!”

I noticed their LBs in particular looked lost on fairly simple plays. They don’t have a chance Friday. SC starters may not run more than 20 plays offensively.

Kickoff delayed until 7:45 due to high traffic. Crossing starting QB Grant Rock will not play tonight. Some updates from Kal Oakes.

GC scored on a drive full of penalties.

They recover a suprise onside, but Dantzler picks off the pass a few plays later.

SC resting a few key guys like Emongo, but need to put this away quick regardless.

SC at the crossing 25 quickly. Likely starters last drive if they score I'd imagine.

SC offense without Emongo faces a 3rd and 10 at the crossing 23 ish yard line to start the 4th. Passing attack off rhythm today a few should be touchdowns narrowly missed.

42-7 Cards after a touchdown on a 3rd down sweep.

I expect JV to get some action now. Onto Bowling Green.

This JV team lost by 40 to Highlands JV so they're a work in progress to say the least.

GC offense marching as the game is winding down.

42-14 Cards lead. JV not great at tackling but this is great experience for the young guys. Let's see the O!

Modest night for Timmy Emongo.

5 rushes 83 yards 2 touchdowns

Not sure how big a hit if any he'll take in the Mr Kentucky conversation.

Way had 137 on 6 carries and a TD. Good game from the fullback.

Deserving of Mr. Football or not. No one is taking a "hit' after their team has a week 1 blowout and he has 2 TD's and sits most of the second half.

He will have to have several 300+ yard games and an undefeated season to even sniff real consideration. The race is Driver, Zane and JaHyde... And keep in mind, Zane is playing nationally ranked teams...

That's definitely a realistic goal. He's a monster!

Cards dominated the first half but then fell asleep after half time. Can't imagine coach McKee will be pleased with the sloppy play, mental mistakes, and penalties of the second half.

it was great to have Fint back on the D Line. He is a load.

Skyler Way (6 carries, 171 yards, TD)

Emongo only played a little over the first quarter 5 Carries 83 Yards 2 touchdowns

Really nice crowd. Both bands were there and marched together. They introduced all the pee wee teams. Both dance and cheer teams were there. There was a huge tailgate so people were there early. It was a great atmosphere.

And then the Cards scored on the first play from scrimmage and it was never close after that.
