WEB Dubois will be looking for some payback this season. 2027 will be even more fun as these two teams will become district rivals after WEB Dubois drops down in Class.

I was impressed last last season and expect them to be dangerous in Class 1A for 2027.

Does WEB DuBois have their own stadium? I saw the new school just opened.

Yes - brand new. Does not appear that JCPS spared any cost. Turf.

Dubois has one of the best 27 players in all of Louisville with Rashad High. He will need to have a big night to keep them in this game. Holy Cross returns most of their team from last year including a 4 year starting QB and a couple playmakers. Their offense should have no issue scoring points this year.

Holy Cross picks off DuBois on the first play of the game. March 50 yards in six plays to lead 6-0 halfway through first quarter. First impression of Holy Cross is good. Nice size up front and lots of skill and speed.

Long Holy Cross drive culminates in a QB sneak for a touchdown. Cougars up 12-0 with five minutes left before halftime.

Dubois drives to the 10 yard line but a hold and personal foul penalty kills the drive. Holy Cross 12-0 at the break.
