June 5 at Lexington Catholic and June 6 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Ky. juniors and seniors will scrimmage each other on May 30 at Louisville Eastern High School.

Girls at 2 pm

Boys at 4 pm.

In todays scrimmage game between the Ky. Sr/Jr boys, the seniors won 124-105.  J. Johnson had 28 points, all in the first half, and Feldhaus had 21.

The juniors girls won 80-69.

Sometimes HUDL will broadcast a game and only list the site and not the teams.

Watched the Kentucky Junior’s VS the Indiana Junior’s on Youtube(ISC Sports Network) last night. Very impressed with Langhi. He reminds me of Max Green from a few years back. Jointer, Brown, Gay, & Myrick looked good as well.

Who won?  DId Keathly play, he was a no show at the scrimmage.

Thanks, I like Langhi also.

My understanding is that the purpose of an All-Star game is to have fun and reward players for great seasons.  Both last night and tonight, Coach Salsman chose to play the same players for almost the entire game, and other players barely saw the floor.  Maybe I'm missing something, and if so, please explain it to me.

If you're not playing to win why are you playing?  If you want to have fun and reward the players, just have a big picnic and call it a day.

If the players on the team are not capable, then the selection process needs to be examined.  Is Kentucky high school basketball so weak that the most prestigious all-star team doesn't have quality players from top to bottom?  Since when does "playing to win" become synonymous with having a short bench?  And, why does having fun and rewarding the players mean they aren't playing to win?  

Coach Salsman only saw them for a limited number of times, so he has no idea which combinations work well together.  They didn't come close to winning, so apparently his strategy didn't work.  Maybe the guys on the bench would have played better defense, rebounded, and taken better shots?

Other than Reece Davidson, who left for college early, who would you have placed on the team?  The Ky. fans won't support the game, they use to fill Freedom Hall. can't fill a high school gym now.  Were you at the game?  The truth of the matter is, year in and year out Indiana just produces better talent.

I just saw the box score for the second game.  Indiana played 11 players and all of them played ten minutes plus.  Kentucky had two players at less than 3:00, Ateny and Jung.  I don’t know anything about Jung but Ateny can play.   He had 18 and 10 against Salsman’s Lexington Catholic team during the season so he’s seen him in person.  
 

Owens and McGillis were no shows for the second game.  I have no idea as to why but could it be because of playing time?
