Cincinnati's Wes Miller has been fired after 5 seasons. Miller leaves with a 100-74 record with the Bearcats, who moved from the American to the Big 12 during his tenure. 

In five seasons, the Bearcats have not made any NCAA Tourney appearances. Who is up next as the head coach of the Bearcats? 

Iti s being reported that this afternoon that Cincinnati has fired Wes Miller after 5 seasons.

I don't think it happens, but could they go after Travis Steele from Miami (OH)?  Would add a little spice back to the UC/X matchup.

It would add some spice to the UC/X game, but I don't think it would be an upgrade for UC.

Was really hoping Miller would work out, lots of rumors of Utah St coach, former Bob Huggins assistant,  I have even heard Mic Cronin returning to Cincinnati, wait maybe we will get Louisvilles coach. With the way players move every year, who knows, big 12 is such a tuff conference,  I feel they need an established coach.

What established coach is going to take this job?  Cronin just beat Michigan St., he's not leaving UCLA.  Kelsey is not leaving Louisville, the jury is still out on him anyway.  If Huggins wants the job, bring him back for a couple of years, at least he would sell some tickets.

I was kidding about Louisville,  because of football..how about Rick Pitino, what a shoot out, Rick and son in same city, talk about selling tickets,  once again, I know that would be a long shot, but big 12 is a better conference and would fill the arena.

One Pitino in town is enough. LOL
