February 12, 200719 yr If you think he's the 5th option, it's clear why your coaching career isn't headed to the next level... :jump: I kinda agree with LBBC. He would be the guy I would rank 5th on who to stop. Thing is, and why I belive Florida is so good and why they will win it all, is that Brewer is the most difficult defensive assignment, maybe in the nation.

He's taken the 2nd most shots on the team (only 1 behind Green) and is the 2nd leading scorer. That's not option 5 any way you spin it...

I guess I'm thinking you have to focus more defensive attention on Noah and Horford in more of a rebounding and other areas besides scoring. Humphery deserves alot of attention due to his incerdible shooting, and the 3 can be a game changer.
February 13, 200719 yr If you think Corey Brewer is the 5th option on his team, you're crazy. The only reason he's the #2 option is because Taurean Green would rather shoot than pass.

Thats why I think Florida is such a special team, this year and last. The way they play together, they make themselves better. I think that it is you have to focus more attention on Horford and Noah like a package deal, because of the two man game they have inside. I think you need to try and stop Green as the point guard, to cut off the head and the body may fall. I do agree what I say sounds crazy....but that's what they said about my Flux Capacitor.
February 13, 200719 yr Might also be that he is the fifth offensive option that the opposing team tries to stop. That would open up some opportunities for him. Wouldn't him being the 5th option mean that Derek Jasper would have to shoot the ball?
