10th Region Freshman Tourney at Deming

Featured Replies

Deming started two 7th graders, two eight graders, and 1 freshman. Made a very good showing this weekend.

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and the Lady Bears on an undefeated season and Region Championship.

Patrick matched his brother with the undefeated freshman season and the Region title. Brother Robin did the same with Augusta's freshman boys when he had Kirk and Company.

Hope Bracken and Deming are the next Mason and Montgomery of the 10th region for years to come.

Lisa Stephenson was the head coach of this young bunch, I was just there for assistance..

Thanks for all your help Coach Kelsch. She probably appreciates your help to and probably couldn't have done it without you.

Thats not giving Coach Stevenson very much credit. I think Coach Stevenson did A good job with the kids this year ,they were a great bunch of kids to watch play . Look foreward to watching them in the future.

Thats why I have constantly put on this site that I am not the Freshman coach... I helped and assisted... Lisa was the coach!

Nice Job Coach Stephenson!

Did Robin coach them as freshmen or did someone else?

First of all no disrespect was meant by that.. I talked with Coach Stephenson at the beginning of the season about getting back into it after such a long lay off and she said that she was glad that Coach Kelsch was attending most of the games because she still wasn't 100% comfortable by herself.. thats what was meant by that statement.

The Lady Bears were going to win the Freshman Regional tournament no matter who was coaching them because they were the best team.

So I apologize if any disrespect was taken because none was meant.

Coach Kelsch is a master-mind and Bracken is lucky to have such a talented and knowledgable coach.

Great job Coach Kelsch!
