Great win for Powell, they seem to be getting the flow of the game back. Hazard just got out played tonight. Powell can be very dangerous in the

14th. They always seem to show up for big games. They will see how they match up against Perry Central next week, and the rankings could possibly be changing in the 14th.

The loss of Campbell is a big one. But yu have to give credit to Powell they are playing extremely well and are senior led. That expirence will help in the next few weeks.

IMO Hazard played pretty well, they were just merely out hustled and out played. IMO the Bulldogs played about the same as i've seen them all year, you can't blame a team for getting out played though, it happens.

Campbell didn't play but about 12 minutes because of the foul trouble. Powell just out hustled them and played harder. Great game from one of Powell's guards. Pelfrey had 20 and if they can get some consistent guard play to go with Romans they will be a force to contend with. Hicks can shoot it from anywhere over the center court line and make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good win for the Pirates.

Powell is definately in the mix, but I would also think that this is an All A slump for Hazard as well. They'll need another game or two to get back on track before tournament play.

Hazard hasn't played well in their last 4 or 5 games. Yes they played great defense against JBS, but they didn't score any points and we all know that JBS is not a great defensive team. And scoring very low at the all A just shows that they don't have any help for Hicks on the scoring side. If Campbell can't keep his head and stay our of foul trouble, they don't have what it takes to win this region. Congrats to Lively and the Pirates on a great win over the Dawgs.
