Justin Franklin named Western Hills head coach

Featured Replies

Coach Franklin is a 1999 Carroll County High School grad. In addition to assistant coaching stops at Manual, Danville, and North Oldham, Franklin was head coach at Trimble County from 2012-2015 and then at Carroll County from 2019-2021. After leaving Carroll County he became defensive coordinator at North Oldham and then took the job as head coach at Scott High School from 2024-2025.

The stop at Danville was between Carroll and North Oldham. Basically 5 schools in 4 years.

Well, good luck at the latest stop.

Good luck. Very tough job.

Will he be bringing any of the Scott coaches with him or will he be forced to keep the current coaches that are on staff?

All of his assistant coaches were NKY guys. I don't see them heading south with him. Word has it, he didn't exactly have alot of support from them anyway. He left them kind of high and dry alot.
