That is a pretty good beat down by Great Crossing.  I thought that they were in the middle of a rebuild year this season?

I saw Great Crossing against Caverna and while they certainly aren't the level they've been the last couple of years, they still played hard and were solid fundamentally. Caverna's athleticism hurt them, especially down the stretch. I also saw West play Bryan Station and the Colts looked like they would have rather been anywhere except that gym. If both teams played Sunday the way they played Saturday, it's no surprise Great Crossing won.

In the first semifinal tonight Boyd County is leading the host Lexington Catholic 48 to 34 at the half.

Boyd is still leading Lexington Catholic 60-48 after 3 quarters.

Boyd County defeats Lexington Catholic rather handily 74-60. Boyd will play the winner of North Laurel and Daviess Co.

Daviss County defeated North Laurel in the other semifinal game last night by 21 points 68-47. Daviss and Boyd Co. will play in the championship game this evening at 7:00pm

Boyd is leading Daviess Co. 16-15 with just over 2 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

Boyd leads by 6 at 23-17 after the first quarter.

Boyd leads Daviess 40-37 at the half. A good half of basketball.

The audio from Boyd Co. has gone off I guess technical difficulties but there was about 1 minute left in the 3rd quarter and Daviess was leading by 8 at 59-51.

Daviess County defeats Boyd Co. 86-78 to win Lexington Catholic Holiday Classic Championship.
