I certainly saw the movie. Imo it was great, Pistol was one of a kind and there will never be another one like him.

Him & Issel had wars back in the day. :thumb: I remeber them (press) asking Rupp what he was going to do t stip Pistol when he played LSU, in one of his many noteable quotes he said " Let him get his 50, if we hold the resto of the team to under 10 we will win" :lol: . That is excatly what happened. Dan Issell was another one of my all time favorites at U.K.. I not only agree with you on Marivich being the best passer in history but I will go as far as to say he was the best player in history. Yes, imo better than Jordan, Magic and Bird. I know that a lot would disagree but Marivich was just amazing.
