Billy Martin...Mekale McKay...who do we think is going to the Funky M on Outer Loop next? Mustangs had some great success for a couple years there with JJ Weaver leading the charge, but haven't seen much since then. Seemed as though they were building a bit of momentum the last couple years; a bit surprised by the step away and open recruitment to the "next program". 

Sounds like he has a destination already in mind. PRP perhaps? He's a young, motivated coach... Could benefit from Nino White's success at Atherton, with PRP being so downtrodden as of late. He would have a better potential talent pool than what Moore offers.

Might be the most brutal schedule in the state to walk into - but plenty of jobs open in and around Louisville currently to look at.

Take your lumps in 2026, and schedule accordingly for the seasons afterward.  PRP has the best potential of the open jobs (Central will likely hire out of state again), as I doubt he is looking to be an assistant.  If he doesn't get PRP, I'd say he ends up at Valley.

Part of me wonders if Coach McKay's former position on the coaching staff of the ill-fated Evangel football program might have made PRP's athletic director shy away from him after PRP had just parted ways with a head coach that they canned over his trouble following rules.

I don't know for fact that he McKay did apply at PRP, but if so, I've gotta think there isn't much about the last year that has changed his status enough to make PRP reconsider his application.
